raleigh moncrief - lament for morning

this year (yes i know it’s trite however….) i have decided to give myself time for things i love but never explore. i remember about 3 years ago when my danish friends were in town, i was hearing new music all the time, the sort that made you dance on the footpath (and i did) and tingle inside (ditto) but it’s been a long time since i have let myself expand my musical horizons. hence this post and any other random musical posts during the year. the ones that don’t conform to my usual acoustic-harmonies or over-the-top-abandon or sadness-that-clutches-your-heart (read the national). i am going to try on new sounds. and hear in a new way.
